Here, I’m checking off all the boxes for the perfect fall outing! I settle in on the brewery’s patio and leisurely sip a refreshing beer with friends. Local flavors and vibrant colors abound!

A fall classic in the Beauce region! Smoked meats, a decadent bistro menu, cocktails, pick-your-own fruit, and festive evenings with friends… It’s impossible to resist the aroma of freshly baked pies!

With a wheelbarrow in hand, I set out with the kids to find THE perfect pumpkin! I wander through the fields overlooking the Beauce valleys, then stock up on vegetables at the stand and visit the mini-farm.

When those crisp mornings roll around, I head over to L’Artisan du Café! The aroma of freshly roasted coffee, their house blend, and a maple latte, it’s the perfect way to start my day!

For my fall supplies, I head straight to Les Roy de la Pomme! Pick-your-own apples from over a dozen varieties, processed products, and addictive ciders. My recommendation: Geneva cider, light and sweet, for your fall outings!

Here, families can enjoy picking their own pumpkins and squash. It’s a real treat for the kids. My tip: try the nighttime version with headlamps and the giant maze in the cornfields to end the outing on a high note!

My favorite fall event: the Espace Carpe Diem in Saint-Georges! Three days of performances, artisans, and maple-flavored treats in a festive atmosphere. Be sure to bring your appetite for the food trucks, October 2–4, 2026!

For an active family outing, I head to the MSG Mountain Bike Center in Saint-Georges! There are over 20 km of trails for all skill levels. My tip: Bring a packed lunch to make the most of it, it’s just two minutes from downtown!

For a refreshing break, I head over to Céline’s “Jardins de la petite école”! These themed gardens were born out of a passion for horticulture. They’re perfect for relaxing and having a picnic. My tip: go there with a group to paint, take photos, or just stroll around!

For a full-day family outing here, I enjoy the pick-your-own fruit, the dairy bar, and the playground. There’s something for everyone. My tip: Try the homemade spirits from their distillery and the famous pizza at the kiosk!

If you’re looking for a gourmet outing this fall, this is the place to go. I can’t resist the Neapolitan pizza counter or the breakfast waffles in the morning—they’re the perfect way to start the day! And let’s not forget treating yourself to one last soft-serve ice cream of the season!

My favorite picnic spot for admiring the Chaudière River: Parc des Rapides du Diable! Short trails lead down to the rive, perfect for a romantic lunch or a dinner stop during a ride along the Véloroute de la Chaudière.
