Experiences

At the start of 2024, we asked over 1,500 tourists to reveal their must-see attractions in the Chaudière-Appalaches region. Here’s the verdict!

Culture bath

In the Chaudière-Appalaches region, culture is alive and well, and just waiting to be explored. It invites us to discover unique places, where every wall, every landscape and every work of art tells a vibrant story. Museums, artists’ studios, heritage tours: here, every detour is an unexpected encounter with the human and artistic wealth of the region.

Family vacation

Beaches to splash on, trails to explore right up to the campfire, cultural discoveries that ignite curiosity… It’s time for a family vacation that smells of burning wood, warm wind and simple happiness. This is the place where families really come alive.

Gourmet discoveries

Do we say it? Chaudière-Appalaches is serious about food. Country-style tables straight from the producers. Sturgeon caught at dawn by Donald. Our blond gold to be poured without restraint. Blueberries by the ton (yes, yes, not just in the Saguenay). Finger-licking gourmet snacks. Goat cheese aged like a fine wine…

Escape to nature

In Chaudière-Appalaches, we don’t love nature… we love it! Enjoy your favorite activity in the heart of the Appalachians, surrounded by lakes and valleys. Escape to trails you’d never be able to access otherwise. Sleep in the heart of the forest in a cabin, hut, yurt or campground. Venture into our life-size playground!

Tête-à-Tête au Fleuve

Experience privileged access to the St. Lawrence River! With its 200 km of shoreline, the Chaudière-Appalaches region invites you to marvel at the beauty of the St. Lawrence River’s landscapes and its cultural and gourmet discoveries.

Bike

The Chaudière-Appalaches region is a paradise for cycling enthusiasts. With 250 km of bike paths, 12 cycling itineraries and numerous nature and mountain tours, there’s always a new opportunity to get on your bike.

Quad/ATV

The region’s exceptional snow cover makes it possible to cover just over 2,300 kilometers of trails in winter, and almost 1,900 kilometers at other times of the year. These trails are groomed and marked by 18 quad clubs, offering quality signage and the possibility of doing burr or daisy trails, without ever riding the same trail twice.
