The Lac Trois-Saumons observation tower is little-known to many, and offers an incredible panoramic view of the river estuary and Lac Trois-Saumons. It’s a must-see! Go there by quad with Le circuit de la tour.

A real trip back in time, well worth a visit! The former seigneurial estate includes an authentic working mill where you can see the flour-making process in action, as well as a manor house and magnificent gardens. Bring your own picnic to enjoy in the flower-filled gardens on the banks of the Ferrée River.

I love walking through the heart of the village of Saint-Jean-Port-Joli. In doing so, I stop to discover the work of Hélène and Pier-Soleine – a mother-daughter duo – painter and jewelry & stained glass artist. The boutique is bright, cheerful and exudes beauty. Visit also Boutique Morency, Atelier M’s big sister.

In May, the opening of the creamery brings joy to the whole region and to visitors passing through! Every year, a number of new products are added to the great classics (made from decadent homemade recipes), to everyone’s delight. I suggest the chocolate square, the creamy sugar sundae and the seasonal fruit cups.

May 12 is the grand opening! Of course, you can eat inside or on the terrace. I also like to take a Lebanese pita to go, and enjoy it in Parc des Trois-Bérêts or at the marina dock.
