The 5.25-kilometer round-trip trail winds through maple and spruce forests to a breathtaking view of Sugar Loaf, the hills of Maine, and Mount Katahdin. The first section (1 km) is even accessible to people with limited mobility.

Their 15-kilometer trail is the talk of the town! Maintained by a team of dedicated parents, this inclusive project welcomes everyone—from beginners to experts, young and old alike. Bike rentals are available, and RV overnight stays are free with a day pass. Come ride with the whole family!

In the heart of the village, I settle in on the rooftop terrace of this microbrewery, which overlooks the lake, to enjoy the chef’s famous nachos paired with a glass of Feu de Camp beer. Craft beers, a local bistro menu, and a warm welcome are guaranteed.

Here, I enjoy maple treats all year round! Maple milk bar, ice cream, Argentine churros, iced coffee… Jenny also runs a lovely shop selling homemade maple products. Soap bubbles at the picnic tables—an irresistible treat for little ones!

For a perfect family outing, I sip on some artisanal mead while watching the farm animals, as the kids play in the playground, dripping with sorbet! My recommendation: the famous Butineuse and… a second glass of mead!
