When is it open ?
- The site is open year round.
- The snack bar is open on weekends during the summer season only.
How to get there ?
- Parking eastern sector - highway 73, exit 130 (four parking areas)
- Western sector (Saint-Nicolas) - Highway 20, exit 311 then route 116 west (one parking lot)
Parking is prohibited between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.

The Eastern sector
The eastern sector is accessible by the Beauce highway (73). Four parking areas are accessible in this sector.
The multifunctional path (bicycle and pedestrian lane) crosses this sector.
There are several picnic areas and a snack bar. This sector offers several points of view of the Chaudière River, the falls, the dam and the footbridge.
The trails to discover:
- La Passerelle (360 m)
- Les Belvédères (630 m)
The footbridge
The footbridge of 113 meters long and suspended 23 meters above the river, was built according to the Pierre-Laporte model.
The Western sector (Saint-Nicolas)
The western sector is mainly made up of the footbridge park where there is a training circuit, a parking lot, playgrounds and picnic areas.
It also offers several viewpoints on the Chaudière river, the falls, the dam and the multi-purpose path (bicycle and pedestrian lane).

- Le Marais (2 km)
- Le Boisé (440 m)
- La Presqu'île (830 m)
The dam and the hydroelectric power station
An exceptional flood having destroyed the original installations in 1970, the dam and a new power station were built in 1998.
