The region has exceptional snow conditions and over 2,700 kilometers (1 678 mi.) of trails groomed and marked by some twenty snowmobile clubs. It offers quality signposting and the possibility of doing loop or daisy chain trips, without ever riding the same trail twice.

The Grand Tour

North Shore/South Shore shuttle service

The Club de Motoneige des Plaines offers snowmobile transport between the two banks of the St. Lawrence River.

To facilitate snowmobile transport between the south and north banks of the river, a closed trailer service is now available at a cost of $100 per snowmobile (maximum of four snowmobiles per trip)!

What to see During your snowmobile tour

01 Mount Saint-Magloire Saint-Magloire

A brand new observation tower has been erected at the summit of Mont Saint-Magloire (917 m). Rising to almost 63 feet (19 metres), the tower offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the magnificent Appalachian landscape. On a clear day, visitors can admire the Laurentians to the north and Mount Katahdin, Maine’s majestic peak, to the south.

02 Mount du Midi Buckland

The Mount du Midi observation tower at the summit of the Massif du Sud ski centre stands at a height of 3,000 feet and offers an impressive view of the Appalachians! On trail 547.

03 Sainte-Marie multifunctional bridge Sainte-Marie

At 678 feet, it is the longest in North America. The cable-stayed bridge crosses the Chaudière River. This safe bridge gives snowmobilers access to both side of the the Chaudière river.

04 Saint-Martin suspension bridge Saint-Martin

This 360-foot bridge also crosses the Chaudière river, giving snowmobilers access to both sides of the river.

05 Notre-Dame-des-Pins covered bridge Notre-Dame-des-Pins

Built in 1929 and 505 feet long, it is the longest covered bridge in Quebec.

06 Linière Marlow bridge Saint-Martin

45-metre bridge over the Rivière du Loup in Saint-Théophile. Located on trail 25.

07 Sainte-Louise observation point Sainte-Louise

The Sainte-Louise observation point offers an exceptional view of the St. Lawrence river.

07 Mont Sainte-Marguerite Saint-Sylvestre

Mont Sainte-Marguerite, at 698 meters, is the highest peak in the Lotbinière area. Stop at the Mont Radar restaurant and enjoy the breathtaking scenery at the summit. The trail to get there is accessible from Saint-Séverin.
