Parc des Appalaches

A populated natural park

This park is the ideal place to practice a wide range of outdoor activities, summer through winter, without forgetting fall and spring. A network of 140 km of hiking trails, lakes, rivers, and mountains with breathtaking viewpoints, arched footbridges, accommodations of all kinds, and much more is what you will find on-site.

It is by far THE best nature destination. On top of that, it’s dogs friendly!

To ascend the Mont Sugar Loaf, you will need to take the Garde-feu trail. Its elevation of 250 m along a 3 km trail makes it the perfect challenge to succeed. Fortunately, the panoramic view is worth the exercise. Once you are ready to go back down, you can retrace your steps or continue the trail to complete the 13 km loop to the Tour du Sugar Loaf. Ready, set, hike!

We will definitely come back!

We did a 5 km hike through the Chute du Ruisseau des Cèdre trail and we loved the sceneries we saw. We enjoyed our trip to this park and will definitely come back soon!
