PLACE OF THE MIRACLE
740 Av. du Palais, Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce
This architectural gem, designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 2006, bears witness to the town’s notables past, as it was for many years the chief legal seat in Beauce. The wealthy homes, traditional residences and institutional buildings that make up this heritage group harmonize the Saint-Joseph landscape. The cradle of the region, Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce lies halfway along the Route de la Beauce. Even today, these unsubmissive founders continue to amaze us with the magnitude of their legacy to the region.
