A must Massif du Sud Park

Less well known than its northern cousin, but just as epic: four peaks, two valleys, crystal-clear rivers, ancient forests… and a massif that climbs to 917 metres. Here, you can pick up the phone for real!

 Mount Chocolate

Is it her delicious name that makes her so popular? Who knows! One thing’s for sure: this trail has it all – riverside, maple groves, belvedere and two of the park’s finest panoramas. A sportier return variant is also available.

Excellent value for money… and one of the first summits to turn red and gold in autumn!

Length: 8.1 km – Vertical rise: 380 m – Approximate duration: 2 h – 2 h 30

Not to be missed

01

The hidden gem… in Le Massif!

La Crête des Grives (11.1 km) is a hiker’s well-kept secret: old-growth forest, crystal-clear rivers, breathtaking panoramas… a hidden gem in the heart of Le Massif du Sud. Discover it before it’s the talk of the town!

02

Sleep in the forest. Waking up zen.

Warm refuges, welcoming yurts, stylish pods, boreal tents or cozy ready-to-camp cabins… all the comforts you need to enjoy nature, or the ideal starting point for a long hike.

03

Small caves… big effect!

The Abris-sous-roche trail (4.3 km – approx. 1 hr. 30 min.) leads to astonishing rock formations nestled in the forest, after a climb punctuated by ladders and spectacular views of the Collines du Nord. A short but memorable adventure, loved by families… and approved by our kids!

04

Climb, jump… cool off!

Life-size hebertism courses, rope bridges, tunnels and climbing blocks… And to finish: a surprise swim in a clear river. Ange and her family loved it (and she talks about it right here)!

05

Mountain biking downhill

Trails that are sometimes technical, sometimes rolling, but above all accessible. A trip well worth the detour. A sure-fire hit with riders!

06

Zipotopia… A bonus dose of adrenalin!

Zip lines, bouncing nets, high obstacles, a real adventure… Something to encourage you, to surpass yourself and to create unforgettable family memories. Psitt… it’s on the same site as Le Massif, but independent. Convenient, eh?
