Hivernage / Ukiitillugu tells the story of Captain Bernier’s seven wintering voyages in the Arctic between 1904 and 1917, exploring the encounters between crews from the south and the Inuit, and highlighting the exchange of knowledge necessary for survival in this world of cold and long Arctic nights. The museum is closed from December 2 to February 28, but is open by reservation for groups.
