The star of the show here? The rooftop terrace. Perched at the top of the four-storey building, it overlooks the city centre and becomes the place to be as soon as the sun comes out. Whether it’s for dinner with friends, a cocktail at sunset or to kick off the evening before the band starts playing, this is where summer really comes into its own.

As a native of Lévis, I certainly have plenty of memories of this place. It’s always a must-visit spot to get together, whether it’s with my family, my friends or my partner. Every time, I go for the famous lychee sangria and the Korean chicken starter to get the evening off to a great start, with the best view and the best vibe of the summer.

The perfect spot for a long, on the riverside. Nestled in the heart of Lévis marina, this little gem with a seaside feel serves fresh lobster rolls, microbrewery beers and, of course, delicious cocktails. A place that really feels like summer… with a sunset to boot.

The small sharing plates, gazpacho, tostadas, squid, cod fritters and the Copacabana cocktail made with spiced rum from the Distillerie des Appalaches.

Between the terrace right by the water’s edge, the impromptu volleyball matches, the free shows and the atmosphere that lingers until nightfall… what I love about this place is that the evenings take on a rhythm all of their own.

It really is my favourite spot to hang out with my teenagers on summer evenings. A game of volleyball, some nachos to share, a cocktail (or a mocktail!) and, before we know it, the sun is already setting over the river. I’m already looking forward to the next comedy Tuesdays with friends!

It’s always funny when I tell my friends, ‘I’m taking you to the orchard.’ The look on their faces when we meet up there and leave a couple of hours later!

The after-work drinks on the magnificent terrace… which usually leads on to dinner (you might want to book a table) – everyone loves their bistro menu… and the singer who keeps the evening going. The staff… always in good spirits. The holiday atmosphere. I always have my designated driver.

I recently bought a Ryker and am rediscovering the joy of riding along country roads. In Vallée-Jonction, it’s impossible not to notice the crowd and the motorbikes gathered under the bridge by the Chaudière River.

The tiki bar, its festive atmosphere and the varied programme of events throughout the summer. Every time I introduce friends who are with me to this place, everyone is pleasantly surprised!

If there’s one place in the region that’s the epitome of a party, it’s definitely this one! You can party both indoors and outdoors, but I must admit I’ve got a soft spot for the terrace. The smell of the smokehouse, ice-cold beers and pure bliss: that’s what you call a great time!

Play a bean bag game with my friends (read: I’m very competitive) whilst sipping a piña colada and lime slush! And what about the food? They didn’t win a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide for nothing. Everything’s delicious, full stop!
