Anna is now 6 weeks old, and her journey to discover the Chaudière-Appalaches region continues. Now it’s time for her to discover a perfect place to rest, enjoy the scenery and, above all, eat a good blueberry ice cream.

 Summer rhymes with ice cream

We headed for Les Bleuets du Vire-Crêpes in Lévis, where we spent part of the afternoon relaxing on our large fouta, looking out over the blueberry fields.

On the menu, a three-fruit sorbet and vegan oat and maple ice cream. Bliss for the lactose-intolerant me.

We really took our time, and it seemed to me that baby was already enjoying being outside as much as we were. We’re in May, and it’s only the beginning of ice-cream season…

 Our favourite gourmet farm!

A few weeks later, Anna is almost 3 months old and we’re visiting Papi and Mamie in Beauce. Of course, we took the opportunity to stop off at our favorite gourmet farm: Bleuetière Marland, located in Sainte-Marie.

I spoil myself with a strawberry-glazed tofu and my boyfriend with a raspberry ice cream. We also take the opportunity to introduce Anna to the farm animals. She doesn’t have much of a reaction. We imagine that will come with time!

And don’t worry, we’ll be back for Neapolitan pizza from Bleuetière Marland on another adventure!

This beautiful July afternoon ends in the grandparents’ pool. I guess you could call it summer fun or the good life. I’ll let you choose!
