Base camp Massif du Sud

On both sides of Le Massif (from the south!), the adventure is total. In the park, you can breathe in the fresh air and explore. On the resort side, you’ll be hurtling down the slopes and feeling the adrenaline rush. And everywhere, its legendary powder snow that makes all of Quebec dream.

 Sleeping close to adventure

On the park side, the six new Éclipse ready-to-camp units boast large windows opening onto the forest in the Bouleaux sector, offering comfort and total immersion in nature.

Close to the trails, pods, shelters and boreal tents complete the experience of sleeping in the heart of the park, in complete simplicity.

Not to be missed

01

4 h 30 of pure pleasure… with snowshoes

The Sentier des Ravages trail promises 9 km of escapism, 468 metres of ascent and total immersion in the habitat of the moose. As you climb, the snow deepens, the panoramas unfold and the forest falls silent. A magnificent winter hike, to be experienced for real.

02

The realm of off-piste skiing

The Enclave Zone is a 6-hectare area with gentle slopes perfect for learning to ski uphill, while the Érablière Zone offers a 27.5% gradient and a 200 meters vertical drop. The snow-covered forest leads to exhilarating descents in legendary powder.

03

Fatbikes: hire one or ride your own!

Here, you can even pedal in the snow! Hire your fatbike on site and set off to explore the park’s snow-covered trails, where you’ll find adrenalin, freedom and pure winter fun.

04

Cross-country skiing on a grand scale

More than 24 km of marked trails criss-cross a 300-year-old forest, where silence and snow meet. Frozen rivers and heated refuges make every outing a moment of pure rejuvenation.

Sleeping at the foot of the slopes

On the resort side, the Solstice micro-chalets boast a sleek design, a wood-burning stove and panoramic mountain views. Designed for 2-4 people (yes, with 2 real double beds!), they offer the perfect balance between comfort and nature.

For group stays, the cosy chalets can accommodate up to 15 people.

Not to be missed

01

Exceptional undergrowth

The mountain’s reputation is built on its natural undergrowth. With an average of 750 cm of snow each winter, and up to 900 cm in the best years, the powder here is legendary. Slopes of between 30% and 45% promise intense descents and exhilarating freedom of movement.

02

The 5th dimension, reserved for true enthusiasts

An off-piste sector… unpatrolled, ungroomed, accessible by lift or by four ascent trails, this sector promises rough descents and untouched snow at every turn.

Lived for real!

I recommend it!

We loved our stay in an Eclipse: comfortable, well-equipped and close to services. The cross-country ski trails were superb, and the descent on the way back was brilliant! The Vieille Forêt, wow, and Mont Chocolat, perfect. Really nice staff, nothing to complain about!
