In a nutshell

The coastline is punctuated by numerous islands, the main ones being Isle-aux-Grues and Grosse Île, where hundreds of thousands of migratory birds gather in the spring and fall. Appalachian foothills has an agricultural and forest character.The bike tour Montmagny and the Islands is another 'two-in-one' and even 'three-in-one' circuit if time permits. The section between Berthier-sur-Mer and L'Islet-sur-Mer along the route 132 also offers admirable views of the St. Lawrence River and the islands of Grosse-Ile and L'Isle-aux -Grues. The second part of the trip will take you to the countryside and the agricultural lands of the villages of L'Islet, St-Eugene, St-Pierre-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud and St-François. A bike tour (the Islander) of 15 km is also possible and you will discover L'Îsle-aux-Grues in all its splendor. Note that the ferry schedule from Montmagny varies according to the tides and the crossing is 30 minutes long.
