Discover the history and geology of the Appalachians mountains, explore the exhibition Atoms and crystals, participate in cultural and scientific events, and visit temporary exhibitions. Discover mineralogy initiation activities and a unique gift shop!
Permanent exhibitions:
Memories of Stone, Pride and Ambition of a Region / Atoms and Crystals

Virtually discover the rich heritage of the MRC des Appalaches! Thanks to virtual headset technology, it is possible to fly over certain abandoned mining sites in the MRC des Appalaches territory directly on site at the Minero Museum. The three-dimensional videos integrated into the visual field of the virtual helmets thus offer the most curious the opportunity to approach mining shafts submerged by turquoise water, mining dumps and the remains of four old asbestos mines.
