Musée maritime du Québec receives Quebec's highest distinction in museology for its river park project

On October 5, the Musée maritime du Québec (MMQ) received a Prix Excellence from the Société des musées du Québec (SMQ) for its river park project - a permanent open-air exhibition - in front of nearly 200 people representing the province's leading museum institutions. A true consecration for the MMQ, this Prix Excellence attests that the project surpasses the standards of museum practice in both content and form, and bears witness to a spirit of initiative, innovation and creativity.
