Fill our lungs with sea air before returning to the city
We headed to the marina of Saint-Jean-Port-Joli to fill our lungs with sea air before returning to the city. What could be more relaxing than watching off the water while listening to the sound of the waves.
DAY 1
Experience your first stop at Domaine Domaine Joly-De Lotbinière , an exceptional natural site where its terrace will welcome you for dinner. Discover the beautifully arranged flower gardens, the gigantic century-old forest and the beach with an exceptional view of the river.
Enjoy unique panoramas during a car ride along the Route des Navigateurs (132) then stop in town, in Lévis for a walk in Old Lévis. Take an hour to visit the lieu historique national du chantier A.C Davie , the guides will help you discover the history of one of Quebec's most famous shipyards.
Dine with a fish and chips at Corsaire and taste one of the beers brewed on site, many of which have won international prizes!
Finish the evening, go watch the sound and light show at la Fontaine du Quai Paquet which will be presented every evening from June 23 to September 30.
Sleep in one of our comfortable lodgings in Lévis with a view of the river.
DAY 2
Don't miss your cruise on Grosse Île or L'Isle-aux-Grues just 30 minutes from Old Lévis. Croisières Lachance offer real adventures that will fill your entire day from 9:30 to 16:30!
History buffs will love the lieu historique national de la Grosse-Île-et-le-Mémorial-des-Irlandais where they will be guided by passionate guides who will tell you the moving story of this island of quarantine.
Nature enthusiasts will love the cruise to L'Isle-aux-Grues which will allow them to have a guided tour of the archipelago and a tour by train ride on Isle-aux-Grues.
Those who prefer to visit L'Isle-aux-Grues at their own pace can also take the ferry from Montmagny by bike and explore the island. The ferry varies according to the tides, so why not sleep on the spot in a tipi and come back the next day!
In the evening, if you are on land, let yourself be seduced in Montmagny by touring the city center and enjoy a good beer at the restaurant Microbrasserie de la Côte-du-Sud .
Then, sleep in on the riverside at Camping Pointe-aux-Oies or allow yourself a few indulgence by going to the comfortable Auberge des Glacis .
DAY 3
Continue your route to L'Islet through the villages and their attractions.
Come aboard historic boats when you visit Musée Maritime du Québec . Plan also a few hours to let yourself be charmed by the quality of exhibitions that have nothing to envy to the Museum of Civilization!
Stroll in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli , a must-see tourist village, which will delight you as much for its friendly restaurants than for its attractions and activities with multiple discoveries.
Treat yourself to a picnic and a beautiful sunset at Parc Havre du Quai in Saint-Roch-des-Aulnaies , a moment of pure delight.
Crown your day with a night in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli camping at Camping de la Demie-Lieue or at Domaine aux Cygnes both having privileged access to the river.
