In a few words
The arrival of the Transcontinental railroad and the Monk railway centre marked the foundation of Tourville in 1919. Today, the former Monk section right-of-way has been turned into snowmobile and quad trails between Bellechasse and Témiscouata, and has made Tourville an indispensable service hub. The Tourville Parc-Nature is a wonderful mosaic of rivers, lakes, marshes, bogs and abundant forest resources that offer close to 5 km of hiking trails. Noir Lake is a bird sanctuary recognized by Ducks Unlimited Canada.
