my introduction to alpine touring
It was bound to happen sooner or later. It was only a matter of time. In addition to skiing, my girlfriend had already taken up ski touring 3 years ago. Not so for me. I only snowboard. So I rented myself a divisible snowboard at the Station Touristique Massif du Sud, and off we went.

The Station touristique Massif du Sud is the highest skiable area east of the Rockies, and is a veritable snow sanctuary with truly abundant powder. And when we talk about abundance, we're talking about 750 cm per winter, and even 915 cm in record-breaking seasons. Incredible!

I started skiing at the Beauce ski club in Vallée-Jonction around the age of 6-7... After too long a break and much later (and too much?), I caught the wave snowboarding. A short summary of the atypical course of a hockey player on the ski slopes. Not always easy!

Dès l'âge d'à peu près 3 ans, mes parents m'ont initié au fabuleux sport de glisse qui est le ski alpin. Depuis ce temps, ce sport est devenu plus qu'un passe temps pour moi, mais une vraie passion que je pratique religieusement à chaque saison.
