Rallye historique des Chemins Craig et Gosford

In a few words

Taking you through the municipalities of Inverness, Irlande, Kinnear's Mills, Ste-Agathe, St-Ferdinand, St-Gilles, St-Jacques-de-Leeds, St-Jean-de-Brébeuf, St-Julien, St-Pierre-Baptiste, St-Sylvestre and St-Patrice, Craig and Gosford roads lead you on a historic journey in the heart of their regions (RCM des Appalaches, de L'Érable et de Lotbinière).

In the early 19th century, these roads allowed for the establishment of the first transportation service, by carriage, between Quebec City and Boston. More importantly, it opened up the land to be colonized by Scottish, Irish and French-Canadian settlers. Information stations along the path explain the history and heritage of this great region.

Road signs will guide you to the main historic and tourist sites: churches and cemeteries of different faith, heritage sites, theatres and museums. The circuit stops you in scenic areas, parks and unique natural areas that allow you to take part in sports and outdoor activities.
