Located just 20 minutes from Quebec City, the Lotbinière region, bordered by the majestic shores of the St. Lawrence River, offers a unique combination of rural charm and modern attractions. It's a destination seduced by both its natural beauty and its cultural heritage. These include historic gems such as the Domaine Joly-De Lotbinière, an exceptional site I've visited in the past, and one of the most beautiful gardens on the continent. During my most recent visit to the area, I had the opportunity to wander the picturesque country roads in search of must-sees for gourmets and relaxation seekers alike. Let's set off together to discover the hidden treasures of the Lotbinière region. By the end of this article, I'm sure you'll know all about this part of the Chaudière-Appalaches region!

Arrêts Gourmands The know-how of our gourmet stops - Domaine de L’Oie Toquée: from the land to the table

Since 2003, in Saint-Agapit, chef-owner Gaston Couillard has invited you to his estate and concocts delicious dishes made from products from his farm. "I had horses boarding in Quebec and Beauce, and I was looking for a piece of land for them. I also thought more and more about reconciling work and family, "says the former co-owner of the renowned restaurant Le Galopin and ex-chef of Château Bonne Entente.
