In a few words
West of the village of Lotbinière, discover this hidden treasure nestled in the middle of nature and dating back to 1816. Built on a peninsula surrounded by the Rivière du Chêne, which runs at the foot of majestic cliffs, this former seigniorial flour mill allows you to meet the families of previous millers and to admire the photographs on display in the attic. Stay a while to picnic on the terrace, stroll along the river or see a renowned artist perform in the uniquely charming hall. Also, take advantage of a 4.2-km hiking trail (intermediate level) that follows the river until the pretty village of Leclercville.
Outdoor site and hiking trails are open year-round.
Visits from the end of June to mid-August. Guided tours may be available upon request.
